Zoo Taiping is one of the landmarks in Taiping, Perak was established in 1961 and is located in a natural abode in the Taiping Lake Gardens near the foothills of Maxwell Hill (Bukit Larut). Zoo Taiping is a central landmark that is not to be missed. This place is dedicated to family and kids. This is a great place for the kids to go near and have a real look at the animals rather than on screen. Zoo Taiping now houses around 1500 animals from 140 species of mammals, birds, reptiles, and fishes.
Another interesting place for kids near Taiping is the Trong Duck Farm. The attractions here include a duck farm, resort, pedal boat, and dining. Kids can have the chance to feed and play with the duckling. Those who love nature can also stay at the resort by the lake.
