Finally the Auditor-General has come out with resolution on financial management skills. Bravo!!

I think they might have read my blog on Where Have Our Taxes Gone. If not how come they came out with resolution all of a sudden and some more used my way of reviewing food by using . If you still don’t believe me, read the article from The Star below:

4 stars – Excellent (90% – 100%)

3 stars – Good (70% – 89%)

2 stars – Satisfactory (50% – 69%)

1 star – Not Satisfactory (49% and below) If they get only one star, not only will their knuckles be rapped, they may also be replaced.

Even after the implementation of such guideline. I still find there is loop hole. My questions:

How to weight the purchasing or financial needs are from 1-4 stars?
What are the measurements?
How long will AG supervise on all the secretaries-general of the ministries? 1 year once? 10 years once?
