‘Let’s Makan!’ an authentic Malaysian taste:

To captivate the multi-cultural Malaysian tradition with a modern flair, Hard Rock Hotel Penang is offering its sumptuous ‘Let’s Makan!” all-you-can-eat dinner at Starz Diner every Friday from 16 April until 7 May 2021. The all-you-can-eat dinner is a gastronomical journey of local palates from delicious appetizers, assorted salads, a vast selection of hot dishes, traditional delicacies and desserts for only RM100nett per adult and RM50net per child (aged 6 to 12 years old). Diners will also be entertained by the chefs throughout the evening at the live stations with carvings of roasted meats, barbequed seafood, live noodle making and wok-in-action performances.

On Saturday evenings from 17 April to 8 May 2021, Starz Diner will extend its all-you-can-eat menu with a combination of the “Let’s Makan!” and the “Saturday Night Live!” menu from 6.30 p.m. to 10.30 p.m. Diners will be spoiled with culinary choices of an extraordinary combination of favourite local flavours with an oriental twist of Chinese and Japanese fusion cuisines for only RM115 nett per adult and RM60 nett per child (aged 6 to 12 years old).

Guests who prefer to savour authentic local cuisines on weekdays – Sundays to Thursdays – can opt for the ‘Let’s Makan!’ 6-course Malaysian set dinner at Starz Diner from 11 April until 12 May 2021 from 6.30 p.m. to 10.30 p.m. The set dinner is available at only RM75 nett per adult and RM45 nett per child (aged 6 to 12 years old).

In appreciation to the frontline workers who served the nation during the pandemic, Starz Diner is extending a special discount of 45 percent off the all-you-can-eat ‘Let’s Makan!’ and ‘Saturday Night Live!’ dining offers. Applicable frontline workers are required to present their work ID cards when dining at the restaurant. The special discount does not apply to family members or friends of frontline workers, nor can it be combined with other promotions.

Overall, the taste of the food is great and the style of cooking is very much catered for Ramadhan period. The food generally covered a lot of spices and spiciness which are not really my style. Still for those that can’t live without hot and spicy food, this is the place you need to visit.
