Bulan Ramadhan is the holy month for all Muslims in the world. During this month the Muslims will fast for the whole month in order to purify and cleanse the body and soul. The fasting of the day will only end at dusk when the announcement is made and prayer is done. At this time the end of the fasting day is called buka puasa.
For those musliman and muslimin that looking for a great place to dine after a long day of fasting. One of the great place that you can try out is the E & O Sarkies Corner that serve buffet for Ramadhan.
The E&O Hotel has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2008. It is very easy to locate E & O Hotel. It stands at the intersection of Farquhar Street and Penang Road. The hotel is about 20 kilometres from the Penang International Airport and if you are driving from Jalan Sultan Ahmad Shah, keep driving until you pass Farquhar Street at the junction that will lead to one way street. Keep driving for a few metres and you will see E & O Hotel is on your left.
