This is actually the second time I have have visited this restaurant. My first impression of this restaurant was it was a very nice and cozy place to be, therefore I have decided to revisit this place on the Christmas Eve for dinner. Ingolf’s Kneipe Restuarant is located at Tunjung Bungah Hillside near to 7 eleven store. It is actually a German restaurant cum bar. One thing that is very unique and nice here is that they allow guests to bring their pets in. I was there for the table booking just 2 weeks before Christmas Eve. The manager just invited me with my goldie JJ into the restaurant as he mentioned that this place allows all dogs and cats.
Ingolf is a very popular place in Penang. If you still not very sure of where this place is below will be the Wikipedia GPS:

I am not sure how true is it, at level one only we can order Paulaner beer. May be next time when you visited this restaurant you can ask the manager about this too. By the way, Paulaner is a German’s beer where the taste is a bit different from usual English beer.
Serviet only for Christmas season.
Ok, this is the German beer that I was talking about Paulaner Munchen. I have ordered a 0.5 liter Natural Weissbier and the price is RM25.80 per pint. To me it’s still consider reasonable.
The taste of Paulaner beer is very smooth compared to normal beer such as Carlsberg or Tiger. Moreover, the thickness is more like the Holland’s beer Hoe Garden. It’s actually a mixture of the best from both.
Cheers to everyone.
Ok, this is my Christmas Eve main dish, Roasted Turkey From Old Country. Sound like kampung’s (countryside) turkey to me. Anyway, the portion is very big. If you are not a big eater and are bringing your partner or spouse together, I advise you to take 1 main dish and 1 side dish instead so that you will not waste the food.
Check out this dish as they served with cranberry sauce. I am not sure how to eat with this. Am I suppose to put it in my mouth together with the turkey meat? Anyway I just love their home made ham stuffing and also the gravy that served together with the turkey. It is fantastic. The price of this dish is RM32.80. At this environment and on Christmas Eve with such price, it is considered reasonable.

It is indeed a nice place. I like the environment too. The food is okay and the price is reasonable. I used to date Lay Sim for lunch at that place as she likes the food and place too. 🙂 Thanks for sharing.
Hi, I found your website through Vkeong’s Shanghai Ding’s post. I would love to read your review, too. Thanks.
Hi Sui Ling, long time no see. How’s going? Do you still meet up with Lay Sim? I miss her too. I still met Rohani on last month at Queensbay Mall. She told me that she is working there now. Btw, glad to hear from you.
Rasa Malaysia, thanks for your support. I like your blog too. Please keep up the great work.
I love broccolis….! This X’mas no turkey for us, we had Japanese hot pot…(must remember to carry a camera around like Steven) ;-D . We ate so much like there’s no tomorrow!
