Pesta Keamatan, also known as Kaamatan Festival, is an annual cultural event celebrated by the Kadazan-Dusun community in Sabah, Malaysia. It is a month-long festival that culminates in a grand finale on May 30th and 31st. The festival is centered around giving thanks for the harvest and seeking blessings for future crops. Key highlights include the Unduk Ngadau beauty pageant, cultural performances, the Magavau ceremony, and traditional food. For the west Malaysians, we used to hear about the Gawai Festival instead of Keamatan. Therefore, this video is to show the events and activities of Keamatan. Besides that, this video also captures the good food and places of attraction in Sabah. There will be 5-days of visit to Sabah for this video.
