3 Leg Cat Cafe has been around for quite a while. This cafe is famous for its delicious food and also a special area for TV games.
Upon entering the cafe, you will see a rack full of collectibles from famous comics. You can tell that the owner is an ardent fan of comics.
On the second floor of the cafe is a more spacious area for a better privacy dining experience.
Ted Soo, the owner and also the founder of the 3 Leg Cat Cafe started to use this name of the cafe out of a joke after he told his friend that he owned a 3-legged cat at home. From there the journey of his cafe embarked.
The cafe has over 50 types of food and drinks which consist of Western and Oriental style. You will never miss out your favorite here.
Nasi Lemak Kok Kok Rice – RM18. Fragrant nasi lemak rice served with their very “troublesome to make” but delicious curry & sambal sauce, ikan bilis, peanuts, fried egg and cucumber slices.
Since this is one of their signatures here, this dish is always fast-selling and will be sold out every day. The style of curry is like kurma but according to the owner, it is not an authentic “kurma”. However, the twist really gives this dish a unique combination of spiciness and creaminess.
Spicy Thai Mango Chicken with Garlic Fried Rice – RM23. Whole leg fried deboned chicken in spicy Thai sauce served with garlic fried rice & grilled vegetables.
The selling point of this dish is the portion is BIG. The portion of the chicken thigh was bigger than an average human face while the taste of the sauce was also very appetizing. Serving together with rice, it is a meal for 2 pax if you are a small eater.
Kakiage Tempura – RM14. Fried tempura vegetables served with teriyaki sauce.
Japanese fried vegetable fritters which were crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Mixing it with teriyaki sauce was such a perfect match.
Mr. Caramelized Banana Waffle – RM15. House-made waffle served with caramelized banana, chocolate sauce & ice cream.
The sweet ending where the taste of chocolate blended in very well with the caramelized banana while the cold ice cream contrasted with the warm waffle.
Cappuccino – RM10, a nice and awakening cuppa is the way to be for coffee lovers like myself.
Overall, this is a relaxing and cozy cafe. The food here was very nice with plenty of options to choose from. The price of the food was quite reasonable as the portion for some of the food was huge.
