Comparing to Plan B, Ipoh of course the Plan B in Penang is not as spacious. But regardless of its size, the latter is very cozy with chic and contemporary interior.

Drinks:
- Elderflower Mint Lemonade – RM12, Not too sweet and with a hint of elderflower scent. Then garnished with some mint leaves. It was a very refreshing lemonade.
- Passionfruit Ice Tea – RM10, the iced tea was topped with passionfruit ice cream. The tea was not sweet at all, so the ice cream made a good companion to sweeten the drink.
- Iced Chocolate – RM10, by the look of this drink one might think that it is full of sweetness. In actual fact, it was not sweet at all. The rich aroma of chocolate mixed very well with fresh milk and this combination can never go wrong.
Skin on fries with dips – RM9. The fries were served with salted egg sauce, Singapore chili and lime mayonnaise. In my personal opinion, the salted egg sauce was on the salty side which is not really my cup of tea. The same goes to the lime mayo as it is too common. The winner is the Sngapore chili which was just nice as it was bit spicy and sour which made the dip very appetizing.
Kristy’s Krunchy Kale Salad – RM18. The salad was mixed with hazel nuts, Mamee instant noodle, kale, carrot, sesame seeds and crunchy bits peanut dressing.
The salad was very appetizing. With the addition of Mamee Monster noodle snack, it really boosted the bite texture of the salad.
Buttermilk Fried Chicken – RM33, the chicken portion was placed on top of waffle and served with slaw and fries.
The tender chicken meat blended well with the crunchy waffle. Together with the slaw on top, the overall combination of this dish was excellent.
Zucchini Speghettini – RM22, spegatthi served with shredded zucchini, cherry tomatoes, garlic confit and thin slices of Parmesan cheese.
The texture of the spaghetti was al dente. The richness of the cheese and the freshness of the cherry tomatoes and zucchini made this dish nutritious and appetising.
Asian Salmon Salad Rice Bowl – RM33, the grilled salmon was served with edamame, avocado, some greens, furikake and chili soy dressing,
The salmon was fresh and perfectly grilled and served side by side with a range of healthy vegetables. It could be considered as a healthy dish.
For those who love desserts, below are the new desserts which are available at Plan B.
Jaffa Cake – RM15
Black Forest Pavlova – RM18
Springfield Donut – RM16
Cham Affogato – RM10, this was a nice affogato. As the name “Cham” suggests, it is a combination of tea and coffee in the local ‘kopitiam’ scene. At Plan B, The ice cream tea tarik was placed in a cup of espresso, thus making a very unique and localized affogato.
Overall, the taste of the food here was very nice. The desserts still have some room for improvement. The new food items are prepared with an addition of local twists to the already in existence international cuisine. For those who have not tried their new menu, do drop by at Plan B.
