E & O Hotel, Sarkies – Christmas Feast

Previously during the Ramadan period, I blogged about Sarkies at E & O Hotel on their specialized buffet for Buka Puasa. If I were given one sentence to describe Sarkies, all I would say is “The most affordable place in town for buffet with the most varieties in a pleasant ambience.”

The year 2014 is coming to an end, it is time for the menu to be revised to coincide with this festive season. Due to popular demand, E & O Hotel, Sarkies is back with its International Buffet dinner.

The International Buffet Dinner at Sarkies Annex Buffet starts from 19th November 2014.

Add RM38++ for free flow or beer, wine and fruit punch

On Friday and Saturday, there will be live performance by Los Cantores with free flow of wine, beer and refreshing beverage by default (RM148++ for adult and RM65++ for child). If you have AMEX (American Express) card, you will be entitled to 20% discount or LIKE E&O Facebook page and you will immediately receive a 20% discount coupon.

Something great about this international buffet is there are plenty of fresh seafood.

One of the highlights is the Alaskan King Crab, which could hardly be found elsewhere.

You will also find some baby lobsters on the seafood counter.

Dozens of fresh oyster waiting to be served.

The same goes to the mussels.

Also the oysters….. slurp!

As for the dessert, it definitely won’t be a disappointment for those who have a sweet tooth.

Fresh fruits such as strawberries and grapes are also available.

Besides the great food available at Sarkies, there are also some Christmas Goodies available for sale at Sarkies Bakery Counter Area.

The bakery chefs were proudly showing off their creations.

Ginger Bread Man-5 pieces per packet

The cakes on the menu include rich Dundee Cake, Chocolate Truffle Cake, Mont Blanc Cake, Hazelnut Crunchy Cake and Cherry-Raspberry Cake. All the cakes were delightful with an emphasis on Christmas decoration.

There is also the ginger bread house. Surrounded by snowmen and topped with mini santa clauses and a white star. The ginger bread house is priced at RM60.00++.

The traditional Yule Log cake comes in delectable flavours.

Beside the bakeries, there are also roasted specialities such as Roast Prime Rib of Beef with mixed herb juice and the quintessential Whole Roast Turkey with wild rice stuffing and giblet gravy. A minimum order time frame of three days is needed prior to pick up and they are available for delivery with a RM50 surcharge.

Overall, this place serves great varieties of food and the price is definitely value for money. The quality of the food is very good too. Parking here is not a problem as there is a multi-level carpark just next to the hotel.
