Marking a new step forward, Gartien is having a new opening at Penang Road and at the same time has officially launched its limited edition packaging for Mid Autumn last weekend. It was a great pleasure to get invited for the grand opening officiated by YB Dr. Afif bin Bahardin, Pengerusi Pertanian & Industri Asas Tani, Pembangunan Luar Bandar dan Kesihatan, witnessed by Joseph Tan, Gartien’s Pastry Chef, YB Teh Lai Heng, State Assemblyman of KOMTAR, Tuan Haji Ahmad, Pengarah Pertanian Pulau Pinang, Dato Dr. Kenny Ong, Group Executive Chairman of MTT Group of Companies and Mr. Lee See Hai, main supplier/partner.
The new shop of Gartien is just located next to Kek Seng Coffee shop.
The relocation notice for Gartien has been sent out to the public so that they can visit their new location instead of the previous one.
Besides the relocation launching, Gartien also marked the new launching of their Mid Autumn Festival Pineapple Cake.
During the launching, various finger food was served.
Beside finger food, wine was also served to the guests which made the ambience more warm and welcoming.
All the guests mingled around while waiting for the great moment to the launching of the relocation and new packaging.
The lion dance performance made this place even merrier.
The ribbon cutting ceremony started right after the lion dance performance, which marked the launching of Gartien’s new relocation and new packaging for this Mid-Autumn Festival.

Gartien’s pineapple cake is fully produced in Penang, started from planting of pineapples until the baking and packaging of the cake. The standard packaging is in white colour. However, in conjunction with Mid Autumn festival, Gartien is launching its limited edition packaging which is in purple packaging.

– Booking order BEFORE 4 AUGUST 2014 for 5 boxes and above will be entitled to A BOX FREE.
– Booking order AFTER 4 AUGUST 2014 (upon availability) for 10 boxes and above will be entitled to A BOX FREE.
Note: Each box is fixed price throughout the year. The selling price per box with 10 pieces of pineapple cakes is RM45 (self collect only).
A fix courier charge of RM10 & RM40 will be applicable to all deliveries within Peninsular Malaysia & East Malaysia respectively.
These fresh and locally made pineapple cakes come in a nice box suitable to be given away as gifts for friends and loved ones. It is ideal for morning and afternoon snacks and it is best to go with hot coffee or tea. The pineapple cake has an excellent balance of sweetness and sourish taste.
